Joseph C. Gentry, Senior Vice President, Licensing and Technology at Sulzer GTC, has been presented with the 2020 Hydrocarbon Processing (HP) Lifetime Achievement award. The accolade recognizes Mr. Gentry’s pioneering work and substantial impact on the global hydrocarbon processing industry.
Hydrocarbon Processing, a leading trade journal for the oil and gas industry, acknowledges and honors the downstream processing industry’s top innovations and visionaries with its annual HP Awards. The nominations are voted on by an advisory board of operating companies, engineering, procurement and construction contractors (EPCs), licensors, consultants and equipment/service companies.
The 2020 edition saw Lee Nichols, Editor-in-Chief/Associate Publisher at HP, presenting the Lifetime Achievement Award to Joseph C. Gentry for his outstanding personal contribution to the industry. With over 38 years of experience in chemical engineering, he has worked in all areas of separation technology, licensing and business development for the oil and gas sector. Mr. Gentry is one of the founders of Sulzer GTC and has been praised for his vision, experience and dedication.
