Chilled and frozen food service provider, Nagel-Langdon, has benefited from a short-term “rent-a-ramp” solution from Thorworld Industries.
The apparatus came into play at Nagel-Langdon’s warehouse in Liverpool, currently under construction. Building work has progressed well; however, the temporary failure of a scissor lift created the potential for delays. Consultant and project manager Wilf Dickinson had to find a temporary solution to limit the construction downtime. “We contacted Thorworld who assigned us a rent-a-ramp solution that would provide access for construction vehicles, forklift trucks and mobile scissor lifts to the warehouse floor. The ramp was delivered within two days and installation was rapid. Within ten minutes of installation, the ramp was being used by all contractors on site, which assisted greatly in limiting any costly downtime.”
