Responding to growing demand, Ashtead Technology has added additional Niton XL3t GOLDD+ XRF Analysers to its rental fleet of test and inspection equipment. The XL3t measures a broad spectrum of elements and most alloys and steels. This makes it ideal for rental because it is suited to a wide variety of applications, including recycling, manufacturing quality control, mining and exploration, precious metals, lead in paint, contaminated land and PMI in oil, gas, petrochemical and power plants. It is also used to test metals in toys, catalytic converters and consumer goods, as well as analysing materials such as bauxite and slag.
