Maintenance & Engineering successfully exhibited at last month’s Plant and Asset Management show and co-located events Drives & Controls, Smart Industry Expo, Fluid Power & Systems, and Air-Tech Exhibitions.
Show organiser DFA Media said the official attendance figure of more than 13,500 over three days made the 2018 co-location, which ran at Birmingham NEC alongside MACH 2018, the most successful to date, and represented a 3% increase on 2016.
Plant & Asset Management 2018 showcased the latest in condition monitoring, CMMS, outsourcing/contract maintenance, energy efficiency, boilers/burners/combustion, handling and storage and more.
In a programme of free technical seminars in the Maintenance Seminar Theatre, sponsored by Ultimo Software Solutions, speakers offered expert insights and practical advice on important and topical issues for today’s maintenance professionals.
There was a steady flow of visitors to the Maintenance & Engineering stand, who were eager to sign up as subscribers, discuss news stories and new developments, and give us their views on the recent revamp of the magazine and website – which won an overwhelming thumbs-up.
M&E publisher Nick Barrett said: “Plant & Asset Management provided a fantastic opportunity to see the latest technology in action and to catch up with experts and specialists. Just as importantly, it was great to be able to meet and talk to readers and get their feedback at first hand.”
Plant & Asset Management 2018 was supported by IPlantE/SOE. The events return to the NEC from 21-23 April 2020.
