You’ll have noticed this issue of Maintenance & Engineering has a fresh, new look. We hope you will like it.
As you probably know, last autumn M&E was added to Barrett Byrd Associates’ portfolio of specialist engineering titles. The redesign is part of our plan to make the magazine an easier, more lively read, while retaining and enhancing all the characteristics you value.
You’ll still find the main sections as before, but we want to build on this by adding new features. The first of these is the M&E Guide, which will offer a briefing on the essentials of a technique or concept. We kick off this new feature with a look at whole life costing.
Alongside the magazine we’re working on a programme of industry-related events including round tables and seminars – we’ll keep you updated on the details as this progresses.
Pressure to keep production lines and processes running at optimum efficiency and with a minimum of downtime has never been greater. Our aim, as ever, is to keep you, our readers, informed and up-to-date on the latest techniques and products to help achieve that goal – in print, online, and via our e-newsletter. If there’s something you’d like to see us covering editorially, please get in touch – my email address is above.
And let us know what you think of the new design, either by email or via our Twitter feed, @MaintOnLine.
