The VK vibration monitor from ifm electronic continuously monitors the overall vibration of machines and assets to ISO 10816, offering the chance to check the condition of assets that might otherwise be neglected due to the cost of traditional monitoring.
The sensor measures the root mean square vibration velocity on a non-rotating component surface, selected using a dial calibrated in both mm/s and inches/s. Measurement range is up to 25mm/s or 50mm/s, depending on the model.
