Craft brewer Brooklyn Brewery chose Flowcrete’s polyurethane system to upgrade almost 8.000 sq ft of floor coating in its main production halls during major redevelopment work. Flowcrete’s durable and slip-resistant Flowfresh SR polyurethane was used with a topcoat of 100% solids Flowcoat CR for additional chemical resistance in the face of punishing brewing conditions. Flowfresh has excellent thermal cycling and thermal shock resistance, making it ideal in areas subject to extremely hot temperatures or which may be exposed to hot spillage.
Flowfresh systems are installed in a seamless application, with no joint or grout lines, which can become susceptible to damage and cracking and harbour dirt and bacteria.
